Ordering and billing

I want to register a domain through you and order web hosting. What should I do?

Fill out and submit the order form. You will receive an invoice for the initial billing period by email. Once payment is received, your domain will be registered and the service activated. If you pay online via the payment button (e-payment or credit card), the service will be activated immediately. You'll receive a confirmation email with activation instructions and configuration details.

How does billing work?

The first invoice is sent by email. After service activation, you can also choose postal invoicing (5 € incl. VAT) or e-invoicing (for companies/organizations only). Invoices can be viewed and printed via the customer portal.

What payment methods are available?

Email invoices can be paid securely online using any Finnish bank’s e-payment service or with a credit card (Visa/MasterCard), enabling immediate activation. You may also pay via traditional bank transfer, in which case activation usually takes 1–2 business days.

If I order two hosting packages, can I receive a combined invoice for both accounts?

Yes, you can. It's possible to receive a consolidated invoice for multiple hosting packages under the same customer account.
Domain names

Is the domain registration fee included in the monthly hosting fee?

No. The domain registration fee is billed separately when you place your order. Before the domain's one-year registration expires, we will send you a renewal invoice in advance.

Is the domain registered in my name?

.FI domains are always registered in the name of a private individual or organization. For private individuals, Traficom does not publish personal details in the public WHOIS database.

For other domains like .com, .net, or .org, you can choose during the ordering process whether or not your details are passed to the registrar.

I already have a domain registered with another provider. How can I transfer it to Avaruus.net?

Domain transfers are case-specific. We recommend contacting our customer support before ordering, so we can provide detailed instructions.

Can I register a domain elsewhere and still use it with Avaruus.net?

Yes. You can use any externally registered domain with our services, as long as you manage the domain and its renewals yourself, and configure the nameservers to point to Avaruus.net: 1st nameserver: ns1.noisystream.fi 2nd nameserver: ns2.noisystream.fi
Reselling

Can I resell Avaruus.net hosting services to my own customers?

Yes. Discounts range from 10% to 25% depending on the total invoice and number of user accounts: 3+ accounts = 10% 5+ accounts = 15% 8+ accounts = 20% 12+ accounts = 25% You can link as many hosting packages or accounts to your reseller profile as needed, and receive a single consolidated invoice.
